The damage to the exterior of the Wallenstein Loggia in Jičín necessitated extensive restoration and structural reconstruction of the south-eastern front façade and the south-western and north-eastern side façades.

The monument was designed by the Italian architect Nicolo Sebregondi for the owner of the Duchy of Frýdlant, Albrecht von Wallenstein, who chose the town of Jičín as the administrative center of his estate. Construction of the building began in 1630 and sources state that the monument was completed in two years. Until today, the loggia has undergone several modifications, which form its final form.

The work carried out consisted of repairs to the south-eastern front façade and the south-western and north-eastern side façades. The works included the removal of loose non-original stucco and core plaster, securing cracks in the masonry with helical reinforcement inserted into grooves in the masonry and repairing damaged brickwork. Restoration of the damaged stonework was carried out by replacing whole stones. The relief of the town emblem, located on the south-eastern front façade, was also restored.
