The work on the restoration of the public area in front of the Church of Our Lady of Victories was carried out between 2023 and 2025. The church, which is located in the Prague city monument reserve, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1992, was built between 1611 and 1613.

In addition to its historical significance, the Church of Our Lady of Victories is world-famous for the statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague, whose cult is widespread in Western Europe and Latin America. The subject of the contract stonework and restoration work was the execution of the surface part of the project for the restoration of the public area in front of the church. The work included the removal of the sandstone paving, stairs and embedment, the gentle dismantling of the masonry, excavation, repair of the stone walls and the fabrication of new plinth slabs. Historic masonry was uncovered during the excavation work, which was examined and properly documented by archaeologists. Once work was completed on the visitor facilities, below stair and paving level, the restored and newly fabricated stone features, stair and floor slabs were fitted back into place.
