While the publicly-accessible northernmost part of the southern garden’s borders on Prague Castle, their southern terraces descend down the steep slope to Malá Strana, where in the east they transition into the Pálffy and Fürstenberg Gardens overlooking the Valdštejnská Street.
The public contract consisted in repairs of low historical walls and walkways in the southern part of the Garden on the Ramparts within the Prague Castle premises. The construction and reconstruction work involved restoration of the round fountain, insulation of the basin with lead padding and installation of new water circulation technology. All the expert works were carried out based on the investor’s requirements and under supervision of the Prague Castle Administration and the National Heritage Institute.
